
The BOK Center is Tulsa's state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue. The 19,199-seat venue is home to the Af2 Tulsa Talons and the CHL Tulsa Oilers. The BOK Center was designed to host major concerts, family shows, ice shows and other world-class entertainment.
On Sept. 6, 2008 the BOK Center opened its doors with a sold-out Eagles concert. Since then other acts have included AC/DC, the Jonas Brothers, Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Carrie Underwood, Billy Joel & Elton John, Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney. The BOK Center has also hosted the Harlem Globetrotters, the Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, Celtic Thunder and the Radio City Rockettes. To end an amazing year, the one-year anniversary concert was Paul McCartney, who played to a standing-room only crowd on August 17, 2009. A total of 184 events were held at the BOK Center in its inaugural year with 729,814 people attending those events.
The BOK Center is managed by SMG, the world leader in venue management. Since 1977, SMG has provided services to more than 220 public assembly facilities including arenas, stadiums, theatres and performing arts centers, equestrian facilities, convention, congress and exhibition centers, science centers and a variety of other venues. SMG also offers food and beverage operations through its concessions and catering company SAVOR, currently serving more than 100 accounts worldwide.
The BOK Center has more than 70 full-time employees and 400 part-time employees to ensure the event attendees have an amazing and awe-inspiring experience. The BOK Center truly is Tulsa's newest masterpiece.
